Join Renee Geyer, James Reyne, Mark Seymour and Vika and Linda Bull at All Saints Estate winery today for this year's first in a series of four Victorian Day on the Green winery concerts.

With organisers dubbing it the ``Big Day Out for grown-ups", it's pitched at folk who enjoy music but are sick of spending time in smoke-filled nightclubs.

The distinctive castle at All Saints Estate dates back to the 1880s, although the vineyard itself was founded in 1864. Now it is owned by Peter Brown, of Milawa's Brown Brothers fame, who also owns St Leonards Vineyard just two kilometres away.

Look out for the 120-year-old elm trees lining the entrance and quickly book a table at the winery's Terrace restaurant if you're early enough for lunch. Other features of All Saints include a playground, self-guided tours and a formal rose garden.

Entertainment starts tonight at 6pm with Vika and Linda Bull, followed by Mark Seymour at 7pm and James Reyne at 8pm.

Renee Geyer headlines the concert, beginning her one-hour set at 9.15pm. Bring along a deckchair and a picnic if you like, although food is available on site. -- Peter Barrett

GETTING THERE

All Saints Estate is located on All Saints Road, Wahgunyah. The drive from Melbourne takes about four hours via the Hume Freeway and Rutherglen. Tickets cost $60, children under 12 are free. Gates for the concert open at 5pm, with entertainment beginning at 6pm, but the cellar door is open every weekend from 9am to 10pm.
